Strong retention of highly polar compounds
Inertsil Amide provides enhanced retentivity for highly polar compounds compared to conventional HILIC columns. Also, Inertsil Amide retains all basic, acidic and neutral compounds of polar compounds. Whereas Inertsil HILIC doesn’t retain acidic compounds sufficiently.
In the figure below, Inertsil Amide shows higher retentivity for highly polar compounds than other brand’s HILIC column.

Inertsil Amide is perfect for LC/MS/MS as it provides strong retentivity in the mobile phase with high organic concentration.
Another advantage of Inertsil Amide is the high durability. Inertsil Amide offers longer lifetime compared to other Amide columns on the market.
As shown below, the peak shape and the retention time haven’t changed even after 1,000 times’ sample injections under the displayed condition.
